It was packed with many people and unfortunately I didn't bring either my other lens or my other camera for taking photos up close.  The zoom lens I put on just didn't allow me to get a good shot with so many people. I picked up the technique to produce the ice/glass effect from one of many websites on Photoshop techniques. I placed "before and after" images together. I bought myself a lens hood for my telephoto zoom lens (the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens), and afterwards I took a short walk around outside and snapped some pics.
