Painting in the Park

I found a website that has free downloads of stock photos. I'm thinking of joining myself and upload my own photos to share. The website is called Stock Vault.

So now instead of relying on my own photos to play around with in Photoshop I can use others; this comes in handy of course when I want to explore with subjects that I may not have taken photos of.

My first stock photo that I've used from the site is by Gary Bydlo; he took a photo of Taylor Park in Largo, Florida, USA.

What I wanted to do with this piece was try to pretend I was at the park and create a painting using traditional media, i.e. paints, paintbrush, and canvas. I wanted to capture a nice summery and dreamy day at the park.
