Summer memories

What fond memories have we collected during this summer of 2006 as it gives way to autumn? The above photo is my impression of what a fond summer memory might have been: taking the boat out on a warm and clear afternoon; having a picnic on board while gently floating along the glistening blue water.

This image was composed with the poster presentation technique I had previously talked about. In addition I applied the soft focus effect to give it that dreamy appearance.

The image was actually cropped from a larger photo I had taken. The other areas were cropped away to focus and enhance the impact of the boat.
